ONE BOOK: We do our part today to prepare the community for the
appearance of Lauren Belfer, author of “City of Light,” a
historical novel set in turn of the 20th century Buffalo, N.Y.

In case you missed the story, a local group has begun an
initiative called One Book Bradford. This many faceted project
culminates in a book signing by Ms. Belfer.

But first, of course, you need to read this book. To encourage
you to do that, we present today’s quiz on some historical
information you’ll learn as you make your way through the
pages.

While those who’ve read the book should have a head-start on the
answers, many of us should know them just based on our proximity to
the Buffalo area.
