Ryan LaBrozzi pitched a one-hitter as Bradford defeated Elk
County Catholic 12-1 in five innings of high school baseball
Monday.

LaBrozzi struck out four and walked four in the mound win.

Keying the Owls at the plate were Nick Foster (2-RBI triple),
Kevin Pautler (RBI double), Jim Milbrandt (2-for-3, double, 1 RBI),
Mike Pascarella (2-for-4, 1 RBI), Alex Faucher (RBI single), Taylor
O’Brien (2-for-3) and Lou Jones (3-for-3, 2 RBIs).

“Ryan did a solid job on the hill for us, giving up only one
hit,” said Tim Burris, Bradford coach. “Our defense played behind
him tonight, and we also hit the ball well from top to bottom.”

Nick Childs was on the mound for ECC, with relief help from Andy
Herbstritt. The two combined on five strikeouts, two walks and 13
surrendered hits.

Tom Schneider hit an RBI single for ECC’s lone run.

The Owls (4-9) host Brockway today.
