Bradford High ran its softball win streak to three with a 6-3
triumph over Port Allegany on Wednesday at Dana Field.
Michele Keane (3-for-4, triple, 2 RBIs), Jonnie Mascho (2 RBIs)
and Meghan Hollenbeck (2-for-3) led the Lady Owls (7-6).
Jessie Mascho earned the mound win, scattering 11 hits, fanning
four and walking one.
Heather Stuckey took the loss, giving up 11 hits, striking out
three and walking none.
At the plate for the Lady Gators, Bre Coder had an RBI triple,
Erica Bidwell an RBI double and Katie Kio a triple.
“We played a great game,” Bradford coach Nichole Spindler said.
“Jessie pitched really well.”
Bradford used a two-run sixth inning to make the score 6-3.
The Lady Owls host Smethport today.
“That will be a big game for us,” Spindler added.
