KANE – Bradford rode big performances on the track and in the
field to a convincing win at the Kane Invitational on Saturday.
Bradford scored 143 points to take first, easily outdistancing

Bradford’s Rob Bleem was named the large school outstanding
field performer.
“Rob had a super day,” Bradford coach Tom Tessena said. “He
started off with a second place finish in the shot put with a 53’6″

in the discus. He lost to Blake Eaton of Allegany-Limestone who was
the New York State champion last year in both the shot and

“Rob was ahead of him most of the way so he made it exciting.
That throw is the second best in the state at the moment and is our
number two all-time best throw.”
Bleem then turned his attention to the javelin where he placed
first with a 182’1″ throw.
Vanere Maynard was named the large school outstanding track
performer.
“Vanere is still not 100 percent but he did well today,” Tessena
