DUBOIS – Britani VanScoter’s career-high 12-point performance
keyed Bradford to a 54-26 win over DuBois in girls District 9
league basketball Friday.
“VanScoter did a great job,” said BHS coach Doug Lloyd.
Bradford’s star Whitney Cline had her usual night tossing in 17
points and grabbing 11 boards.
“Cline played real well,” Lloyd added.
Also lifting Bradford was Nikki Siffrinn (7 assists) and Katie
White (3 steals).
“Siffrinn always does a great job handling the ball,” commented
Lloyd. “White was all over the place tonight.
“Shelly Fuhrman, Meghan Perschke, Tricia Copeland, Kayla Murphy
and Michele Keane all played well tonight,” praised Lloyd.
The Lady Owls improve to 16-6 overall and 10-2 in District 9
play.
Bradford returns to action Wednesday at Dubois Central
Catholic.
“It has been a great year but it’s not over yet,” noted
Lloyd.
