HAMBURG, N.Y. – Megan Richards contributed 19 tallies to pace
Pitt-Bradford to a 63-54 victory over Hilbert in AMCC women’s
basketball Thursday.

“It was a good win for us,” said UPB coach Bill Hyden. “I
thought we would be flat, but we came out aggressive in the first
half and built a lead. We came out in the second half the same
way.”

Also lifting the Lady Panthers (6-9, 5-4) were Danielle Williams
with 16 tallies and Tai Brown snagged 10 boards.

“We are starting to do a better job of taking care of the
basketball and rebounding,” Hyden added.

UPB hosts La Roche at 4 p.m. Saturday.
