TEST TIME: More questions today from that pilot citizenship test
proposed by the immigration service.
As we told you a few weeks ago, the U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services is in the process of revamping its citizenship
test, and has released 140 draft questions.
The questions, part of the exam’s civics portion, are intended
to make the test more “meaningful.”
So let’s see how you do. Answers will be printed tomorrow. (We
don’t want you to be tempted to cheat!)

The Immigration Service was slated to begin administering the
pilot exam to about 5,000 volunteer citizenship applicants in 10
cities early this year.The pilot will allow the Immigration Service
to work out any problems and refine the exam before it is fully
implemented nationwide in the spring of 2008.
When you’re grading your test tomorrow remember that, to pass,
applicants get 10 selected question and must answer six correctly.
