PICKLE PRIZE: Adeline Anderson of Derrick Road
responded to our call for people who still hide pickle ornaments in
their Christmas trees, part of an old-time German
tradition.[neWLine]
The person who finds the pickle ornament gets a
prize.[neWLine]
“”It seems as though the same grandson gets it every
year,”” Adeline said. “”He’s the most observant … he is very good
about sharing with others.””[neWLine]

I SEE YOU: Gus Gocella sends along a question
we’ve been asked before:
[neWLine]
“”Do you know if the Bradford ‘camera’ has been discontinued,
broken and/or ‘just not available’? Maybe I don’t know how to
access it and if possible would/could you place some info in RTS
referencing it?[neWLine]
“”I enjoyed looking at it and determining if I could see friends
driving or walking by and it was a good visible weather
determinant. I had friends drive by and wave to the camera and if I
was looking then I would email them and acknowledge the
‘wave.'””[neWLine]
We know that Bradford-online used to operate this camera which
kept an eye on downtown Bradford in the vicinity of Veterans
Square. We don’t know what became of it. If you do, could you drop
us a line?[neWLine]

THAT GRILL: And another e-mail from a faraway reader:
Judi Robinson writes, “”Just read in RTS about the Heart Attack
Grill in Tempe, Ariz. To tell you the truth, this is the first time
I have heard about it. For as often as I get to Tempe, it might as
well be in Bradford.””
[neWLine]
“”Usually places like that get written about in the local paper,
but I must have been unconcious if it was. I bet they have a lot of
customers considering the size of the majority of people I see
around town. It does not sound like a place I will ever go
to.””[neWLine]
Is Judi telling us she has a lot of chubby neighbors? Sounds
like it.[neWLine]
