KANE – Mary L. Varisano, 81, of 621 Dawson St., died Thursday
(Dec. 28, 2006) at her residence. Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of the Cummings Funeral Home Inc.

SHINGLEHOUSE – Dennis G. “Denny” Phillips, 59, of Odenton, Md.,
formerly of Shinglehouse, died Wednesday (Dec. 27, 2006) in Charles
Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, after a seven-year battle with
cancer. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil
L. Howard Funeral Home.

ROULETTE – Alberta A. Covert, 90, of Trout Brook Road, formerly
of Port Allegany, died (Dec. 28, 2006) in the Charles Cole Memorial
Hospital, Coudersport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction
of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.

LUVERNE, Minn. – Raymond Edward Taylor, 76, of Luverne, died
Tuesday (Dec. 26, 2006) at the Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital, in
Mankato. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
Dingmann Funeral Home, Luverne.
