SALAMANCA, N.Y. – An Allegany State Park employee was killed in
a motor-vehicle accident Friday morning on State Park Road 2.

According to Allegany State Park Police representative Scott
Ritchie, at 11:30 a.m. Friday, a car driven by a park police
officer was traveling on Road 2 when it came upon another park
police vehicle that had apparently been in a single-car,
motor-vehicle accident.

The park employee in the vehicle that wrecked, Ryan T. Brady,
31, of Salamanca, was killed in the crash.

The Allegany State Park Police, along with the New York State
Police, are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

No further information was available.
