FREDONIA, N.Y. – Justin Feldman of Bradford, Pa., has done it
again!
His third 300 game rolled in three weeks was the highlight of
the Pennsylvania Stars Youth Bowling Tournament on Sunday at Lucky
Lanes.
It was Feldman’s second 300 game in two days. On Saturday, he
rolled a perfect game at Byllye Lanes in Bradford, Pa., in the
Junior League. (See story on Page 17).
The tournaments, which begin in September and end in April, are
bowled in 10 different houses every other Sunday.
The schedule includes two events being held in Bradford, Pa.,
Erie, Pa., Hornell and Jamestown and one event being held in Corry,
Pa., DuBois, Pa., Fredonia, Meadville, Pa., Randolph and St. Marys,
Pa. It is a scholarship tournament with scholarships being awarded
in a handicap division and a scratch division.
The tournaments begin with a qualifying round and advancement is
dependent on the number of entries in each division. The tournament
then continues with match play until a winner is determined.
Feldman’s 300 game came in match play. He finished first in the
tournament.
Sunday’s 300 game was Feldman’s fourth. His first 300 was rolled
when he was 12 and was a member of a youth league when he resided
in New York State.
He is now 15 and is a member of the Major League that bowls at
Byllye Lanes on Saturdays at 1 p.m. in Bradford, Pa.
