MEADVILLE – Ruth Gibson Deloe, 101, formerly of North Street,
Meadville, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community,
died there Monday (Dec. 4, 2006). Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home Inc.

SHINGLEHOUSE – Robert B. Lawton, 76, the mayor of Shinglehouse,
died Monday (Dec. 4, 2006) at the Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital
after a short illness. Funeral arrangements are under the direction
of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home.

SMETHPORT – Genevieve P. Dickinson, 92, of Bradford, formerly of
Smethport, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2006) in the Lakeview Senior Care
& Living Center, Smethport. Arrangements are under the
direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., Smethport.

ULYSSES – Gilbert A. Obourn, 66, of Lyons, N.Y., formerly of
Ulysses, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2006) in his home. Arrangements are
under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation
Service, Ulysses.

KANE – John W. “Jack” Deane, 90, formerly of 320 South
Settlement Road, Kane, died Sunday evening (Dec. 3, 2006) in The
Lutheran Home at Kane, where he resided. Arrangements are under the
direction of Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home Inc.
