Bradford Area High School student Brandon Graham on Thursday
will represent the school’s music program in the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
During the parade, Graham will participate in The Tuba Titan
Marching Band as a member of an all-tuba band assembled to
celebrate the 80th anniversary of the parade. He was selected to
perform with the band after submitting a video audition tape.
The inaugural performance of the Tuba Titans will be showcased
live on Wednesday during NBC’s “Today Show.” Then, on Thanksgiving
morning, the Titans will march in the parade performing John Philip
Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” for NBC’s Herald Square
television audience.
On the street, the band will perform “Them Basses” by G.H.
Huffine.
Graham is a junior at Bradford High and a member of the Marching
Owls.
He is the son of Dr. Nate and Cindy Graham of Bradford.
