WASHINGTON – Taiasha Brown scored 23 points as the Pitt-Bradford
women’s basketball team opened the season with a 72-49 loss to
Mount Union College of Ohio at the Holiday Inn Tournament at
Washington & Jefferson College on Friday.

Brown was 9-for-16 from the floor, had eight rebounds and three
steals. Katie Moore added 11 points for the Lady Panthers, who only
trailed 30-21 at the half.

Pitt-Bradford (0-1) will face Ohio Wesleyan University in the
consolation game today at 1 p.m.
