COUDERSPORT – Chris Cavallari had 29 rushes for 264 yards and
scored all three of Coudy’s touchdowns in a 24-0 victory over
Johnsonburg Friday.
The first score of the game came in the second quarter on a
safety as Coudy’s Carin Knight and Adam Foust tackled Johnsonburg’s
Calvin Grumley in the end zone.
Cavallari then raced 75 yards to put the Falcons on the board
8-0. The extra point kick failed.
In the third quarter, Cavallari hustled 33 yards for the
Falcons’ second visit to the end zone. The extra point was a pass
from Justin Kinder to Dirk Coburn, setting the score at 16-0.
Coudy’s final score came on a three-yard run by Cavallari in the
fourth quarter. The extra point was a run by Kinder to finalize the
score at 24-0.
Leading the Falcons defensively were Ike Cary with 10 tackles
and Kirk Duffee and Drew Levavasseur with eight tackles apiece.
Coudersport had nine QB sacks for the night.
Tallying interceptions for the Falcons were Derek Burdick with
two and Colton Corey and Levavasseur with one each.
