Bradford shuts out Kane 4-0

Micah Irwin scored two goals to lead Bradford to a 4-0 win over
Kane in a boys high school soccer game Thursday.

Patrick Morrisroe and Cody Nuzzo also scored for the Owls
(9-4).

Steve Butler, Adam Feura and Stephen Tingley were credited with
one assist apiece.

Micah Ridley was in goal for Bradford, making six saves.

In goal for Kane was Jacob Pusateri (10 saves).

“Ceegan Danielson, Mark Willard, Ben Daggett and Shawn Disney
played solid defense to help Micah Ridley get his third shutout of
the season,” BAHS coach Wes Lohrman said. “This is the first time
this group has played a full game together. They complemented each
other very well on the field.

“Micah Ridley made a couple spectacular saves to keep the
shutout intact.

“Kane has been having a very good season. They only had one loss
coming into the game. My guys were ready to play.”

Kane falls to 12-2.

Bradford hosts Redbank Valley at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fretz Middle
School as part of a boys-girls doubleheader. The Lady Owls’ soccer
team will play Redbank Valley at 11 a.m.

Senior Day activities will be held between games.
