Clearfield snapped Bradford High’s six-game soccer winning
streak, defeating the Owls 2-0 Monday.
Mark Auman scored on a free kick and Kurtis Graham scored
unassisted for the Bisons (7-2), who swept the season series from
BAHS. Both goals were scored in the second half.
Micah Ridley was in goal for Bradford, making seven stops.
Ben Johnson minded the net for the Bisons. He was credited with
eight saves.
“We had quite a few scoring opportunities,” Bradford coach Wes
Lohrman said. “We couldn’t find the net.
“We had to take some offensive gambles with under 10 minutes
remaining and it backfired on us.”
The Owls (7-3) are at DuBois on Wednesday (5:15 p.m.).
