Coudy, Oswayo Valley notch Tuesday night wins

Coudersport remained undefeated in North Tier League action as
the Lady Falcons defeated Austin 25-10, 25-15, 25-10 Tuesday in
girls volleyball.

Karli Duffee had 13 assists, 17 points, six aces and two blocks
to power the Lady Falcons. Also leading Coudy were Jessica Wilson
(8 kills, 8 points, 3 aces) and Brooke Campbell (5 kills, 3
blocks).

“We kept up the intensity throughout the whole match after
getting off to a good start,” said Greg Stone, Coudersport
coach.

Coudersport is now 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the NTL. The Lady
Falcons return to action Thursday against the Lady Terrors in
Otto-Eldred.

Sonni Gordnier had five points and four kills for Austin, while
Whitney Crosby added four kills.

Austin (3-2) returns to action Thursday at Oswayo Valley.

In other action, Oswayo Valley defeated Otto-Eldred 25-10,
25-10, 25-11.

Brittany Kellogg sparked Oswayo Valley with 13 kills, 18 points,
5 aces and 14 digs. Also leading the Lady Green Wave were Lauren
Donovan (6 kills, 9 digs, 10 points) and Brittany Mertsock (9
points, 28 assists).

Oswayo Valley remains undefeated with a record of 5-0 in NTL and
8-0 overall.

Leading Otto-Eldred (2-3, 5-3) were Brittany Hepfer with four
kills and nine digs and Justine Wilkins with six points, five aces
and six digs.

Elsewhere, Northern Potter defeated Port Allegany 25-17, 25-19,
25-20.

Leading NoPo were Brittany Rounds (15 digs, 6 kills, 6 points, 3
blocks), Laura Kalasnik (9 digs, 10 kills, 9 points, 2 aces), Emily
Gamble (6 digs, 7 kills, 3 aces, 9 points, 15 assists) and Katie
Kibbe (12 points, 3 kills).

Powering Port Allegany were Brianna Bizzaro (7 kills), Lauren
Delacour (5 kills, 2 aces), Kayla Raudenbush (2 kills, 7 digs) and
Chelsea Tucker (6 kills, 6 digs).

Port Allegany will face Smethport next.

Northern Potter (3-2, 5-3) travels to Galeton today for a
non-league match. On Thursday, the Lady Panthers will take on
Cameron County in Emporium.

Cameron County claimed a win over Smethport 25-23, 25-23, 15-25,
25-18 in the NTL’s fourth game Tuesday night.

Brittany Grimm had 13 points, four aces and five kills for the
Lady Red Raiders. Jessica Ellenberger added 10 points, three aces,
five kills and five digs, while Julia Glosek had 34 assists and
three kills.

Cameron County is now 1-4 in the NTL on the season.

Carrying the Lady Hubbers were Kristina Schwab with 12 points,
six aces, 17 assists and six blocks, Megan Woods with 12 points,
three aces and 10 kills and Matti Baker with nine points, five
aces, 10 kills and five blocks.

The Lady Hubbers fall to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in league.
