DUBOIS – Lindsay Sherman scored three goals to send Bradford to
an 8-0 win over DuBois Central Catholic in high school girls soccer
Saturday.
Katie White and Miranda Whiteman added two goals each for the
Lady Owls (6-0). Adrienne Sloan also scored.
Meagan Little had two assists and Amanda Morrison, Bri Gleason,
Alexa Wilton, Danielle Harbaugh, Brooke Milbrandt and White had one
each.
Chelsea Rinfrette and Chelsey Colosimo were in goal, combining
on four saves.
Lisa McMeckin was in goal for DuBois CC, making 21 saves.
“Coming into this match we didn’t know much about DuBois Central
as we haven’t played them in a few years,” Bradford coach Tony
Doriguzzi said. “Our game plan was to score early. Katie White did
just that within the first minute of play. I think that took the
wind out of their sails because DuBois Central was never in the
match after that.
“Meagan Little played a fabulous game. She had about 10 shots on
goal and her great service into the box generated the first two
goals.”
The Lady Owls host St. Marys on Tuesday.
