Katie White scored two goals and had two assists to lead
Bradford to an 8-1 win over Kane in high school soccer Tuesday.
“Katie White had another brilliant game,” commented Bradford
High coach Tony Doriguzzi. “She dominated the center of the field
today. Kayla Murphey and Lindsay Sherman also looked good out
there.”
Also scoring for the Lady Owls were Sherman, Adrienne Sloan,
Murphey, Danielle Harbaugh, Tricia Copeland and Jenna Gorrell.
Sherman, Murphey, BriAnne Gleason, Amanda Morrison and Miranda
Whiteman added assists for Bradford.
Nicole Ewing scored the lone goal for Kane with eight minutes
left in the game.
Emily Kane had 17 saves in goal for the Lady Wolves.
Chelsea Rinfrette and Chelsey Colosimo shared goalkeeping duties
and combined for two saves.
“Overall, I think we played well as a unit today,” said
Doriguzzi. “I hope we can continue this kind of play when we face
defending District 9 champion Clearfield this Thursday.”
The Lady Owls (2-0) return to action Thursday in Clearfield
against the Lady Bisons.
