Six arrested on drug charges in St. Marys

ST. MARYS – The North Central Municipal Drug Task Force has
arrested six people on drug charges in St. Marys.

According to St. Marys City Police, two search warrants were
executed at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at 111 Washington St., and at 2:10
a.m. Thursday at 224 E. Arch St.

Police said Johnny Frank J. Coleman, 28, of Farrell; Christine
Rotan, 20, of Sharon; and Andrea G. Logan, 23, of Farrell, were
arrested for three counts of delivery of crack cocaine, criminal
conspiracy to deliver crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine,
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also upon arrest, it was determined that Christine Rotan was a
fugitive from justice with warrants pending in Mahoning County,
Ohio.

Police said Coleman, Rotan and Logan were arraigned in front of
Magisterial District Judge Donald A. Wilhelm and incarcerated in
Elk County Prison in Ridgway in lieu of bail.

Additionally, the task force, in conjunction with city police,
arrested Frank White, 32, of St. Marys, as a result of a parole
violation; Alric Easley IV, 32, of St. Marys, for an Elk County
bench warrant; and Joshua Knepp, 27, of St. Marys, for an Elk
County bench warrant.

White, Easley and Knepp were incarcerated in Elk County Prison
pending further action, according to police.

The North Central Municipal Drug Task Force reported its
investigation into the incidents is continuing pending further
arrests.

The task force is comprised of officers from Elk, Cameron,
Forest and Warren counties.

The task force was assisted in its investigation by city police,
the St. Marys Police K-9 Unit, Elk County Sheriff’s Department,
Emporium Borough Police Department, Johnsonburg Borough Police
Department, Ridgway Borough Police Department and Ridgway-based
state police.
