Terry Reiley carded 69 to earn low gross honors in Division I
during the third annual Stan Pecora Open at the Pennhills Club on
Sunday.
He was challenged by Dan Reiley (70), Mike Sherman (77) and
Terry Salisbury (79).
Pete Taylor won the low net event in Division I, shooting 66. He
was chased by Jay Pecora (67), Ted Kochan (68), Dan DeFrank (69),
Tom Vinciquera (72), Steve Kubiak (72), Tim Reiley (73) and Fred
Gallup (74).
Jim Tarasovitch shot 80 to win the low gross Division II
tourney. He won on a match of cards over Dean Harten (80). John
Sullivan shot 83 and Joe Costanzo 85.
Steve Fishkin won the low net Division II event with a score of
65. He was challenged by Jim Pingie (68), Dan Brinsky (68), Kim
Benjamin (69), Dave Jones (70), Paul Westerburg (71), Stan Pecora
(71) and Tony Lonzi (72).
Steve Sabitini shot 91 to win the low gross Division III
competition. Tom Arrowsmith (92) and Joe Marasco (93) followed.
Dr. Cecil Dee carded 69 to win the Division III low net tourney.
He was challenged by Bill Galey (71), George Failey (71), Jack Lane
(71), Pat Vigliotta (74) and Chris Mattie (75).
Closest to pin six were Pete Taylor (7’11”, Division I), Joe
Costanzo (9’6″, Division II) and Vince Iaderosa (18’8″, Division
III).
Skins winners in Division I were Terry Reiley (holes 2, 5),
Terry Salisbury (4), Dan Reiley (8, 15), Dan DeFrank (9), Jay
Pecora (13) and Pete Taylor (17).
Skins winners in Division II were Joe Troutman Sr. (2), Paul
Westerburg (7), Dave Jones (14), Dean Harten (16) and Kim Benjamin

Skins winners in Division III were Chris Mattie (1, 3), Tom
Arrowsmith (5, 8, 12), Pat Vigliotta (9), Steve Sabitini (10) and
Jack Lane (17).
Pete Taylor fired a 79 to win a low gross sweeps event
Saturday.
Eric Schenfield (82) and Dean Harten (83) challenged.
Taylor (68), Harten (71) and John Sullivan (73) led the Class A
players.
Tom Federspiel (72), Joe Costanzo (72) and Stan Pecora (72) led
the Class B players.
Pete Evers shot 72 in the Class C tourney.
Sullivan (32) won the Pot of Gold.
