The Pennhills Club will hold a fireworks celebration starting
around dusk on Tuesday in honor of Independence Day.
Only members of the club are allowed on the grounds, where a
barbecue will be held before the fireworks, but the public is also
invited to watch along Minard Run Road.
If non-members want to get a relatively good seat along the 9th
green of the Pennhills golf course, they are advised to get there a
little earlier since that area will be occupied fairly quickly.
There will also be fireworks held tonight at the Foote Rest
Campground in Lantz Corners and the Little Valley (N.Y.)
Speedway.
Meanwhile, the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its
annual fireworks display at dusk today on the grounds of the St.
Marys Country Club. The display will be put on by Starfire of North
Carolina.
“Light Up the Sky,” the annual Fourth of July Fireworks
celebration for Fox Township, will be held today at the Fox
Township Community Park beginning at 5 p.m. The fireworks display,
which is being sponsored by Fox Township and put on by Starfire,
will begin at dusk.
Also on Tuesday, fireworks will be set off at the Little Valley
Speedway and Bradner Stadium on East State Street in Olean, N.Y.,
where the gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for music and
activities.
