Bradford High eked out a 36-33 Allegheny Mountain Wrestling
League win over Kane on Tuesday night.

Matt Jordan, Dan McMurtrie and Tim Keane won by pin for the Owls
(3-11).

“All the boys wrestled with intensity tonight,” BAHS coach Matt
DeGolier said. “They knew the win was within their reach. Everyone
stepped up and wrestled a very good match from the bottom to the
top.”

The win provided an upbeat moment in a dismal season for the
Owls.

“Everybody had a smile on their face after the match,” DeGolier
noted. “The kids needed the win as did the coaches.”

The Owls host Johnsonburg next Tuesday.

“We are going to be optimistic against Johnsonbug,” DeGolier
concluded.
