Two of the stores at Blaink Plaza on East Main Street in Foster
Brook are set to open early next week, with one store already
making its first sale while moving in on Friday.
Bradford businessman John Kohler told The Era on Friday
afternoon that Rent-A-Center will open its doors Tuesday and The
Beach House Tanning Salon on Wednesday. Both are at Blaink Plaza,
the shopping center owned by Kohler and constructed at the site of
the former Evans Rollerdrome.
Kohler said that while Rent-A-Center personnel were moving in to
set up shop Friday, they made their first sale.
The Beach House has relocated from its former spot at the Foster
Brook Shops.
There was not previously a Rent-A-Center in Bradford.
A Chinese Buffet is set to open at the plaza the first week of
February, Kohler added.
In July, Kohler had announced he was officially the new owner of
the roller rink property on East Main Street and planned to build a
strip mall.
