    Wednesday (Dec. 14, 2005) at his residence of natural causes. He

    SMETHPORT – Grant W. Gruver, 88, of Smethport, died Friday (Dec.
    16, 2005) in the Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport. Arrangements are
    under the direction of Gary K. Drum Funeral Home.[neWLine]

    ULYSSES – Ella M. Johnson, 85, of Westfield, formerly of
    Sunderlinville, died Friday (Dec. 16, 2005) in her home.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home and
    Cremation Service.[neWLine]

    SMETHPORT – Shirley A. Petruzzi, 89, of Smethport, died Friday
    (Dec. 16, 2005) in Sena-Kean Manor, Smethport. Arrangements are
    under the direction of the Gary K. Drum Funeral

    ST. MARYS – Jeannie L. Eckl, 75, of the St. Joseph’s Terrace in
    Weedville and formerly of Center Street, St. Marys, died Thursday
    (Dec. 15, 2005) at the Elk Regional Health Center. Funeral
    arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral

    COUDERSPORT – Norman Stuckey, 71, of Austin, died Wednesday
    (Dec. 14, 2005) at his home. Arrangements are under the direction
    of the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport.[neWLine]

    ST. MARYS – James J. Jacob, 82, of Treasure Lake and formerly of
    Rightmeyer Street, died Wednesday evening (Dec. 14, 2005) at his
    daughter’s residence in Treasure Lake. Funeral arrangements are
    under the direction of Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home.[neWLine]

    EMPORIUM – Kathaleen Topolski, 87, of Cameron, died Wednesday
    (Dec. 14, 2005) in Elk Regional Health Center following a lengthy
    illness. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edward

    DuBOIS – Hattie M. Ferguson, 91, formerly of South Jared Street
    died Wednesday (Dec. 14, 2005) at the DuBois Nursing Home.

    KANE – Nioma L. Farnsworth, 79, formerly of James City, died
    Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 13, 2005) at the Lutheran Home at Kane.

    GALETON – Ruth Z. Fowler, 87, of Germania died Saturday (Dec.
    10, 2005) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home and
    Cremation Service, Collins Chapel.[neWLine]

    ERIE – Andrew Boyd Palmer died at birth at St. Vincent Health
    Center on Saturday (Dec. 10, 2005). To send condolences visit

    NEW BERLIN, Wisc. – Mary Lou Gorton Heck, 63, of Waukesha, died
    suddenly in her sleep, Sunday morning (Dec. 11, 2005). Mrs. Heck
    was born in Olean, N.Y., on Oct. 3, 1942. She was raised in nearby
    Bradford, Pa., her hometown, and beloved vacation spot. The Church
    & Chapel Funeral Home in New Berlin is in charge of

    CRESTVIEW, Fla. – Irving Miller, 87, of Bradford, Pa., died
    Thursday (Dec. 8, 2005) at the Manor at Bluewater Bay, Niceville.
    Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home is in charge of

    Eva M. Torre, 87, of 2 South Ave. died Friday (Dec. 2, 2005) at
    the home of her daughter in Wyandotte, Mich., after a brief
    illness. A memorial service will be held in Bradford at a later

    Michael R. Wilson of 4 Vineyard Hill, Fairport N.Y., died Friday
    (Dec. 2, 2005).[neWLine]

    RIDGWAY – Molly W. Parson, 79, of 602 N. Maple Avenue, died
    early Monday morning (Dec. 12, 2005) at her residence following a
    brief illness. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the

    Robert L. Bigler Sr., 59, of Bradford, died Saturday (Dec. 10,
    2005) at Bradford Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are

    James “”Jack”” Ault, 75, of 45 Oakwood Ave., died Saturday (Dec.
    10, 2005) as a result of an automobile accident in Limestone, N.Y.

    Lois J. Barber, 78, of 312 Saddlebrook Drive, Indiana, Pa.,
    formerly of Smethport, died Friday (Dec. 9, 2005) at UPMC

    AUSTIN – Margaret “”Peg”” VanWhy, 75, of Austin, died Saturday
    (Dec. 10, 2005) in Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, N.Y.,

    COUDERSPORT – James A. Hoffman, 75, of Coudersport, died
    Saturday (Dec. 10, 2005) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in

    AVONMORE – John Shellhammer “”Jack”” Jones, age 80, of Avonmore,
    died Sunday (Dec. 11, 2005) in West Haven Nursing Home in

    SHINGLEHOUSE – Dorothy Copella Schoonmaker, 80, of Olean, N.Y.,
    died Thursday (Dec. 8, 2005) in the Olean General Hospital Olean,
