KANE – A Port Allegany woman was seriously injured in a
one-vehicle accident at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Combs Creek Road at
Skinner Creek in Liberty Township.
According to Kane-based state police, a car driven by Jessica
Trimm, 20, of Port Allegany, was traveling on Combs Creek Road when
it hit the bridge at Skinner Creek, ejecting Trimm.
The car then “vaulted over the creek,” police said, and hit a
tree.
It was unclear where emergency responders took Trimm for medical
treatment. The investigating officer, Trooper Daniel Moore, was not
immediately available for further comment.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
There was no further information Sunday night.
The Star Hose Co. Volunteer Fire Department of Port Allegany and
Port Allegany Borough Police assisted state police at the
scene.
