RIDGWAY – A Weeville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident at
6:30 a.m. Saturday on Route 255 in Fox Township.

According to Ridgway-based state police, a pick-up truck driven
by Winston J. Streich, 64, of 18584 Bennetts Valley Highway,
Weedville, was northbound on Route 255 when it left the highway
while rounding a curve in the road.

The truck traveled down a bank and became airborne, hitting a
tree. It then rolled over, coming to a rest on the west side of the
road, according to police.

Elk County Coroner Lou Radkowski said Sunday Streich’s official
cause of death was “head trauma.”

There was no further information.
