Palmer powers Owls soccer over DCCHS

DUBOIS – Nick Palmer had a goal and an assist to propel Bradford
(6-3) to a 2-0 win over DuBois Central Catholic (6-3) in boys high
school soccer Wednesday.

The Owls’ second goal was from Patrick Morrisroe.

“The DuBois Central defense was focusing on some of our key
players which gave the rest of our team good scoring
opportunities,” stated Bradford coach Wes Lohrman.

Micah Ridley was in goal with 12 saves for the Owls.

“Ceegan Danielson, Andy Preston and Shawn Disney limited DuBois
Central on its shots by stepping in front of the ball,” commented
Lohrman. “Those boys were a major reason why we had a shut out
tonight.”

The Owls are back in action Saturday at Coudersport. The JV Owls
play tonight at Smethport.
