    RIDGWAY – Timothy D. “Sharky” Scharf, 47, of 210 Tremont St.,
    St. Marys, died Tuesday (Sept. 13, 2005) at Presbyterian Hospital
    in Pittsburgh.

    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk
    Funeral Home Inc.

    Emerson Jack Cramer Jr., 76, of 66 Mechanic St., Bradford, died
    Friday (Sept. 9, 2005) at Bradford Regional Medical Center. Funeral
    arrangements were under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill
    Funeral Homes Inc.

    ULYSSES – Nicole R. Smith, 33, of Ulysses died Monday (Sept. 12,
    2005) in her home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
    Olney Funeral Home.

    ENDICOTT, N.Y. – James J. Stack, 79, of Vestal, died Tuesday
    (Sept. 13, 2005) from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Arrangements
    are under the direction of Allen Memorial Home.

    RIDGWAY – Ethel M. McQuown, 97, of Highland View Health Care in
    Brockway and formerly of 416 Smith St., Ridgway, died Tuesday
    afternoon (Sept. 13, 2005) at DuBois Regional Medical Center –
    West. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson
    Funeral Home.

    ST. MARYS -ðGeorge P. Fritz, 84, of 127 Russ Lane died Monday
    evening (Sept. 12, 2005) in the Elk Haven Nursing Home.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral
    Home.

    PHOENIXVILLE – James W. Kelly, 68, of Bradford, formerly of
    Phoenixville, where he lived most of his life, died Sunday evening
    (Sept. 11, 2005) in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center,
    Pittsburgh. Arrangements are under the direction of the
    Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Homes Inc.

    LEOLA – Lester M. Hurst, 86, of Landis Homes, Lititz, formerly
    of Ephrata, died on Monday (September 12, 2005). Arrangements are
    under the direction of the Furman Home for Funerals.

    GALETON -ðHelena M. Green, 101, formerly of Galeton, died
    Tuesday (Sept. 13, 2005) in the Green Home, Wellsboro. Arrangements
    are under the direction of the Collins-Olney Funeral Home.

    ULYSSES – Nicole R. Smith, 33, of Ulysses, died Monday (Sept.
    12, 2005) in her home. Arrangements are under the direction of the
    Olney Funeral Home.

    KANE – Martha L. Elms, 82, of Sheffield, died Monday (Sept. 12,
    2005) in Warren Manor. Arrangements are under the direction of the
    Cummings Funeral Home Inc.

    JOHNSONBURG – Immaculata T. “Madge” Casciani, 79, of 325 High
    St. died Monday (Sept. 12, 2005) at the Pinecrest Manor Nursing
    Home in St. Marys after a lengthy illness. Arrangements are under
    the direction of the Anthony Ferragine Funeral Home Inc.

    TUCSON, Ariz. – Anna Marie Turnquist, 97, of Mount Jewett, Pa.,
    and lately of Tucson, died Monday (Sept. 12, 2005) at the Odyssey
    Hospice home in Tucson.

    ST. MARYS – Theresia M. Knouse, 78, of 234 W. Theresia Road died
    Sunday (Sept. 11, 2005) at the Elk Haven Nursing Home after a
    lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
    the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home.

    MELBOURNE, Fla. -ðArthur W. Niergarth, 85, died Friday (Sept. 9,
    2005) at his home in Melbourne. Arrangements are under the
    direction of the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home.

    YPSILANTI, Mich. – Robert Edwards, 73, died Saturday (Sept. 10,
    2005) at his home. He was born July 14, 1932, in Bradford, Pa.
    Funeral arrangements are by the Borek Jennings Funeral Home,
    Hamburg.

    ST. MARYS – Margaret L. “Peg” Kraus, 76, of 377 S. St. Marys St.
    died Monday (Sept. 12, 2005) at Montefiore University, Pittsburgh.
    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Green
    Funeral Home Inc.

    Dagus Mines, died Saturday (Sept. 10, 2005) at the Holy Spirit
    Hospital in Camp Hill after a brief illness. The Lynch-Radkowski
    Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    ST. MARYS – Donald P. Smith, 70, of 560 Chestnut St., St. Marys,
    died Saturday morning (Sept. 10, 2005) at the Pinecrest Manor after
    an illness of the past year. Funeral arrangements are under the
    direction of the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home.

    ULYSSES -ðBerwin G. Hurler, 54, of Harrison Valley, died Friday
    (Sept. 9, 2005) in the Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, N.Y.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home.

    SALAMANCA, N.Y. – Daniel J. Sheahan of 19 1/2 Armstrong St.,
    formerly of Vandalia, died Saturday (Sept. 10, 2005) in Strong
    Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a long illness. Cremation
    arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig &
    Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.

    CLARKSTON, Mich. -ðEvan J. “Jake” Leonard of Clarkston, 85, died
    Friday (Jan. 7, 2005). Funeral arrangements were under the
    direction of the Lewis E. Wint & Son Trust 100 Funeral
    Home.
