As our wonderful Washington politicians talk about spending almost $2 trillion on giveaway programs, I thought perhaps “a trillion” could be put into perspective.

If you were to fill Penn State University’s Beaver Stadium with all 100,000-plus seats and give every person there $1,000, you would have to fill the stadium every weekend for close to the next 40,000 years before you would have passed out $1 trillion.

It has been reported that $4.38 billion of this will go to illegal immigrants.

God bless our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will eventually have to pay for this. There is still, regrettably, no such thing as a free lunch.

Think about this before the next election.
