Just a concerned resident’s comment, as a former business owner, and being reminded of the continued requests over the years for financial support for Bradford Regional Medical Center.
This “reconstruction” plan seems like a destruction plan for Bradford and BRMC.
Where does this leave our already fragile health care in the rural areas of our state, considering the clear and present danger of the COVID-19 crisis?
After reading the comments in The Era on Thursday, I’m begging our local officials to continue to represent the residents here in the area, as well as the health care workers and local doctors, and be involved in the decision-making for us. Please, consider this as a very important, urgent action to take a stand on.
Without a viable health care center, where do we stand as a community? We need a hospital that functions as a hospital to be a fully rounded community.
