Ridgway’s Mountain Fest set for this weekend

It’s once again time for Ridgway’s annual Mountain Fest.

The Elk County Wilds Tourism Association will host the 2021 Mountain Fest starting this Friday at the Motion Control building on Gillis Avenue. The festival will last through Sunday, according to a Facebook page dedicated to the event.

This year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of late Mountain Fest founder Tom “T.O.” Fitch.

Mountain Fest provides a chance for the Ridgway area to showcase offerings such as restaurants, businesses and live music. Artisan demonstrations are a favorite feature of the event, too.

There should be plenty to see, as the organizers announced last week that all their vendor spots were filled.

On Friday, live music will be performed between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Slated performers are Bill McDonald, White Feather, Gary Gerber, Ian Kucenski & Tim McClain, Dan Wygant, and Brian Phillips.

Saturday’s entertainment will be from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. with performers including Rich Hadfield, Tim & Musical Romance, Patsy Cline (Heather Olson) & The Silver Eagle Band, and Ian Kucenski. Headlining band Billy & The Neptunes will take the stage Saturday night.

Between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, entertainment will be provided by Bill McDonald, Mino or Tim Salter, Mino and Ian Kucenski.

Vendors include AJ’s Wood Works, Anytime Lunch, Bear Creek Wines, Beer Booth with “Regular” Beer ECWTA, Below the Bark Designs, Brandy Camp Creamery, Briar Hill Rustic Furniture, Brick Oven Pizza, Cherish Creamery Goat Cheese, Chicken Hill Distillery, Christie’s Closet Boutique, Clover Moon Design, Copper Fox Wines, Creative Cup, Creative Home Improvements, Creekside Kettle Corn, Daniel Swanson Caricature Artist, Dave’s Leather Shop, Dea Delullo Cosmetics, Debra Cummings, Debs All Occasion Chocolates, Delong Enterprises “Shine Shakes,” Dreamcatch, EAZ 3D Laser Printing, Elk County Laser, Elk County Murders, Elk County Riders, Fish-On Flies and Things, Fox Sawmill & Custom Designs, Gardens of Eternity LLC, German Roasted Nuts/Pleasures of the Palate, Hesi Contracting, Hogue Lumber Company, Integrity C&W, Jeffery Donoughe Chainsaw Carvings, Joey’s Bakery, Joey & Zoe Dussia Chainsaw Carvers, Just Some Essentials, Katering by Kate, Laurel Mountain Gardens, Lazy Ts Smoke Shack, Legend Hunters Films, Little Darlins Games, Logyard Brewing, Lost in the Wilds Brewing, Lottery Board, Merritt Estate Winery, Nittany Laser Creations, Northern PA Regional College, PA Hickory Syrup, Paparazzi Jewelry, Pearl My World, Peter Peppers PA Pickles, Pheasants Forever-Chapter 630, Real Nutz Vodka, Rittner’s Farmhouse Bakery, River Valley Surplus, Sam’s Hot Dogs, Scrapped, Shine Chimes, Shuey’s Creek Bottom Farm & Crafts, Skippy’s Guns and Horns, Snuffy DeStefano Chainsaw Carving, St. Leo School Cornhole, Stone’s Throw Farm, Table 105 Mobile Eatery, Tastefully Simple, Tinker’s Resin, TK Crafts, Tom Butz Furs, Top Rank PC, Triple Nickel Distillery and WB Blacksmithing.
