No one was injured when a Bradford Area School District bus was shot with a BB gun Wednesday afternoon on Songbird Road, just after leaving the bus garage.
No children were on board the bus at the time, according to Bradford Township Police.
The driver said he heard a crack, and stopped the bus at Owens Way. He found a bullet hole in the window directly behind his seat, police said.
A release sent out by the school district said the driver had been hit with fragments of glass, but did not require medical attention.
Police were able to determine an 11-year-old male was in his yard shooting a BB gun when a shot struck the side of the bus. Police are still investigating, and have yet to determine if the shooting was intentional.
Bradford Township Police were assisted by Bradford City Police.
