RIDGWAY — A Tuesday morning truck fire in St. Marys near the Cameron County line was ruled as electrical in nature, according to a state police fire marshal.

Ridgway-based state police Cpl. Greg Agosti said he, St. Marys City Police and the Crystal Fire Department (St. Marys) investigated the cause and origin of a blaze in a truck belonging to Truegreen Limited Partnership of Clarion.

The fire occurred at 9:08 a.m., and damaged a 2011 Ford F-450 utility-style truck. The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical. Damage is estimated at $40,000.

There were no injuries, according to authorities.
