A Jamestown, N.Y., woman is in McKean County Jail after she allegedly broke an Order of Protection out of Jamestown.

Meagan Williams, 33, is charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a first-degree misdemeanor.

According to Lewis Run-based state police, at 5:46 p.m. Sunday, troopers responded to the area of Viaduct Road and Kinzua Bridge State Park in Hamlin Township for a report of a domestic incident.

There, they found that Williams violated the Order of Protection, as well as put a 13-year-old girl from Jamestown at risk, police said.

Williams was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 5.
