SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court for allegations that he harbored a man who was wanted by law enforcement, and he failed to register a dangerous dog.

George H.L. Cabisca Jr., 41, of Bradford, will serve 18 months of probation for charges in two cases. In one case he is charged with hindering apprehension-harbor or conceal, and in the other with dogs not validly registered. Cabisca pleaded guilty Dec. 19 to allegations that he was previously convicted of harboring a dangerous dog — a pitbull mix named Jack, and on July 11 he did not register the dog as required. Then, on July 24, Bradford City Police notified Cabisca that they were looking for Jason Girdlestone, and on Aug. 1, law enforcement officials went to Cabisca’s home and found out Girdlestone was staying there.

Also in court, Samuel P. Tsepelis, 22, of Bradford, was sentenced to 15 months of probation for allegations stemming from a domestic dispute. He pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to a charge of simple assault.

Andrew R. Goodwill, 46, of Port Allegany, will serve six months of probation for a charge of harassment and a summary charge. The complaint filed at the time of Goodwill’s arrest alleged that between July 12 and 16, Goodwill made alarming visits and phone calls to multiple individuals and offices in Port Allegany Borough including the borough office, the ambulance service, the police department and the mayor.

Dene S. Kellogg, 31, of Bradford, will serve five years of probation with a term of restrictive probation for a charge of DUI-alcohol.

Brandie R. English, 30, of Rixford, will serve five years of probation with a term of restrictive probation for a charge of DUI-controlled substance.

David E. Lussier, 37, of Middletown, Va., will serve 19 days to two years in McKean County Jail with credit for 19 days of time served for a charge of DUI-general impairment.

Ashley L. Roberts, 19, of Cyclone, will serve six months of probation with a term of restrictive probation for charges of DUI-controlled substance and a summary charge.
