SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court for allegations of trespassing and theft at a Corydon Township home.

Joshua C. Pingie, 27, was sentenced to 110 days to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 84 days of time served, and he will pay $2,405.92 in restitution. He pleaded guilty Oct. 17 to charges of criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief.

The allegations Pingie entered the plea to were that on Oct. 11, 2018, he entered 56 Heather Lane, Corydon Township, took alcoholic beverages and a candle worth a total of $112, and damaged two doors, a window screen and bedding.

Also in court, Troy A. Schuppenhauer, 30, of Bradford, was sentenced to six to 18 months in state prison with credit for 244 days of time served for a charge of simple assault. Schuppenhauer pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to allegations that on July 4, he went to a Bradford City residence and, while shaking his fist, told a female he was going to kill her.

Gage M. Foster, 19, of Bradford, will serve 15 days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for six days of time served and one year of consecutive probation, and he will pay $1,348.15 in restitution, for charges in three cases. He is charged in one case with simple assault, in another case with criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia in the third. On Oct. 3, Foster pleaded guilty to allegations that on June 26, Foster struck a female in the face; on June 27, he damaged the front window of a building, causing $1,348.15 in damages; and on July 8, he possessed a glass smoking device.

Rachelle L. Buterbaugh, 25, of Bradford, will serve two days to one year in McKean County Jail and one year of consecutive probation for a charge of accidents involving death or personal injury. Buterbaugh pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to allegations that on July 27, while operating a car, she struck a barricade, and the barricade struck a pedestrian, causing him a minor leg injury; Buterbaugh failed to stay at the scene.

Adam W. Reinard, 52, of Port Allegany, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault. On Oct. 3, Reinard pleaded guilty to allegations that on Aug. 24, he struck a woman in the face, causing bruising.

Sarah J. Bickford, 68, of Smethport, will serve six days to one year in McKean County Jail for a charge of retail theft. Bickford pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to allegations that on July 22, she took merchandise from Walmart

Joshua J. Barnes, 29, of Philadelphia, will serve five days to six months in McKean County Jail for a charge of DUI-general impairment.

John J. Yasurek III, 44, of Ludlow, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of DUI-general impairment.

Russell S. Ferraro Jr., 39, of Kane, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He will be sentenced Dec. 12.

Eric V. Fishkin, 27, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lane R. Haynes, 28, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charge of DUI-general impairment and summary charges.

Stephanie J. Bly, 37, of Buffalo, N.Y., will serve six months of probation for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary charges.

Ralph D. Abbott, 72, of Port Allegany, will pay a $300 fine for a summary charge of harassment.
