As the Pennsylvania General Assembly prepares to vote on legislation that, if passed, would strip the Department of Environmental Protection’s authority to regulate climate pollution, hundreds of people — including many from Chester County — attended virtual lobby meetings with their respective state legislators to voice their disapproval for attacking climate solutions.

Wisconsin’s Producer-Led Watershed Protection Grant program was introduced in the 2015-2017 Wisconsin state budget, designed to provide funding to farmers willing to lead conservation efforts in watersheds. The first round of grants totaling $242,550 was awarded to 14 producer-led groups. The program has continued to grow, with the 2019-2021 budget authorizing annual program funding totaling $750,000. Thirty groups of farmers were awarded that full amount of funding in November 2020.

NAZARETH, Pa., June 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Kitchen Magic, a family-owned and operated kitchen remodeling company, today announced its partnership with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) for a "Reface. Replant. Rejoice." tree planting reforestation mission. The launch coincides with World Environmental Day taking place on June 5, 2021. For every kitchen remodeled by Kitchen Magic during June 2021 through June 2022, a donation of five trees will be planted on the customer's behalf to a forest in need. Kitchen Magic expects to donate a minimum of 10,000 trees for planting during the campaign.
