Beverly Ann Snyder-O’Neil, 79, of Loris, S.C., formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

Born Feb. 7, 1946, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary Virginia Ruby Scarano. She was a 1965 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On Jan. 22, 1966, she married Larry R. Snyder. Bev later married Patrick O’Neil on Sept. 5, 1987. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 2013.

Bev was employed as a supervisor at Seacoast Hospital for 20 years.

She loved cooking, gardening, homemaking, crocheting, knitting, puzzles and arts and crafts. Bev enjoyed cooking and exchanging recipes with her sister, Gloria. She also loved to golf and would go golfing every day after work with her husband, Pat.

Surviving are two daughters, Gina M Snyder of Loris and Pamela (Ray) Patchkovski of Cuba, N.Y.; one son, Larry R. (Cindy) Snyder Jr., of Clover, one sister, Gloria Scarano of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Sarah Snyder, Joey Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Nick Snyder, Zachary Snyder, Desiree Slater and Tiffany Grinder; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Potter; and one brother, Joseph Scarano Jr.

There will be no public service at this time. Friends will be invited to attend a graveside service in the spring.
