SMETHPORT — Jason Allen Connor, 48, of Smethport passed away Thursday (Jan. 1, 2026) in his home, with his loving family surrounding him.

He was born March 27, 1977, in Bradford, a son of Larry and Janet McClelland Connor.

Jason was a graduate of Ambridge Area High School. After high school, he worked at multiple jobs leading up to his dream job at Zippo. He finally had to quit due to his ongoing health issues.

He was known for his outstanding work ethic, unwavering love for his family and friends, and his kind heart. Jason also was so proud of his son, Levi, and how intelligent he is. He was Jason’s joy in life.

Jason leaves behind his longtime girlfriend, Crystal Connor, and his son, Levi Connor, both of Smethport.

He is also survived by two sisters, Dawn Raye Connor-Martinez in Texas and Amy Beth (Will “Dump”) Connor-Brookover in Ohio; one brother, Kevin Eugene Connor of Kane; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be announced at a later date and time.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
