Gloria Turner
PORT ALLEGANY — Gloria L. Turner, 89, of Port Allegany passed away Wednesday (Dec. 31, 2025) at her home.
She was born Jan. 31, 1936, in Soldier, a daughter of George and Sarah Adamson Mowrey. She was first married to Michael Denninson. On July 22, 1966, in Bradford, she married James O. Turner, who survives.
Mrs. Turner was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School and worked as a waitress for several years, then at Ball-Incon of Port Allegany in the packing department.
Gloria was a member of AARP.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by one daughter, Janice Torres of Coudersport; two sons, Michael Denninson in Tennessee and Mark Denninson of Warren; three grandchildren, Ryan and Michael Denninson and James Turner in Tennessee; one sister, Janice (Darl) Allison of Treasure Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Vuncannon; one brother, Calvin; and one sister, Esther.
In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, there will be no services.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Port Allegany Ambulance Service.
