Patricia Grennan
Patricia M. Grennan, 81, of Rochester, N.Y., formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday (Nov. 2, 2025) at Rochester General Hospital.
Born Oct. 17, 1944, in Bradford, Tish was the daughter of the late Carl P. and Violet M. Anderson Spehar. She was a 1963 graduate of Bradford Central Christian High School. She later received a licensed practical nurse (LPN) certification and was employed at Bradford Hospital.
On Nov. 18, 1967, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, she married Robert M. Grennan, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2019.
She was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, and a current member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Rochester.
Tish was a ceramic artist, hobby bowler and exceptional cook. Her greatest joy was being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Grennan of Rochester; one son, David (Denise) Grennan of Morrisville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Bailey Grennan and Avery Grennan; one brother, Carl J. (the late Sandy) Spehar, formerly of Custer City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Tish was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick (Sandra) F. Spehar; two sisters-in-law, Betty (Jerry) Wight and Jean (Bill) Herbert; and one brother-in-law, James (Patricia) Grennan.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday (Nov. 7, 2025) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 8, 2025) with the Rev. Jim Gutting of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
