The special week will conclude with the 4-H Regional Shooting Sports competition in St. Marys on Saturday.
The following week, March 29-31, 4-H youth will gather in Harrisburg for Capital Days. Stephanie McFall will represent the McKean County 4-H program at the event.
4-H is for all youth ages 5-18 who take part as members of clubs and special interest groups. The organization provides the opportunity to make new friends, visit new places, attend workshops and conferences, host meetings and help the community.
Pennsylvania 4-H is a part of Penn State Cooperative Extension located at the Penn State University campus in State College. With this connection, the 4-H organization is able to take research-based information from the state’s land grant university and share it with youth in urban, small town and rural communities.
