Mark Havers

Mark Havers (right) was inducted into the District 9 Wrestling Hall of Fame Saturday at Clearfield High School. Havers had a career record of 130-10 with the Bradford Owls and was a four-time D9 champion.

HYDE — Current Bradford High School assistant wrestling coach and former champion grappler at the school, Mark Havers, was inducted into the District 9 Wrestling Hall of Fame on Saturday at Clearfield High School.

Havers, who was on hand to help coach Bradford at the D9 Class AAA Championships over the weekend, is a 2011 graduate of BAHS and put together an outstanding four-year career with the Owls.

He was a four-time Class AAA District 9 champion and was voted Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament three times. He was also a four-time winner at the Class AAA North West Regional Championships in 2009 and 2011. Havers finished with a career mark of 130-10 and was a member of the 2008 National Freestyle Duals All-American Team in 2008.

Havers resides in Bradford with his wife, Jessica and their two sons, Beau and Bearen. His proud parents are Mark and Sonia Havers.
