RON'S PICKS

TONIGHT’S GAMES

General McLane at Bradford

Injuries continue to plague the Owls and McLane head coach Jim Wells is well aware of Bradford’s situation.

“They lost their quarterback and a running back,” Wells noted earlier this week. “Those are two big threats on offense and defense. That’s not easy to deal with.

“Our kids are not looking past Bradford because I’m sure they’ll be ready for our game with whoever they have,” Wells emphasized.

The Owls just can’t generate any offense because they make too many mistakes. I have to go with McLane.

Coudersport at Smethport

Both the Falcons and the Hubbers are 4-2, so home field advantage may play a big role in this game. I’m going with Smethport

Otto-Eldred at Cameron County

At the opposite end of the spectrum, both the Terrors and the Red Raiders have only won one game. In this one I like the visitors’ chances ... I’m going with O-E.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy at Kane

I don’t klow much about St. Joe’s, but I do know the Wolves are on a roll. Give me Kane

Curwensville vs. Ridgway at Johnsonburg

The Elkers are the home team, but I don’t think that will be a problem for the Golden Tide. I like Curwensvile in this one.

Elk County Catholic at Brockway

It’s pretty much the same situation here. The Crusaders are winless so I have to go with Brockway.

St. Marys at Moniteau

The Dutch got thumped last week, so the question is can they bounce back. Since Moniteau is winless I would say — yes. Give me St. Marys

SATURDAY’S GAME

Sheffield at Port Allegany

This game is in Gatorland, but I think the Wolverines are just a little stronger. I’ll take Sheffield
