...A SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT PARTS OF MCKEAN...POTTER...NORTHERN CLINTON...CAMERON...AND ELK COUNTIES... HAZARDS...A snow squall which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 502 PM EST, a snow squall was along a line extending from near Denton Hill State Park to 6 miles northeast of Marienville and moving southeast at 40 MPH. THIS SQUALL WILL BE NEAR... Lyman Run State Park and Denton Hill State Park around 505 PM EST. Cherry Springs State Park around 510 PM EST. Ridgway, Portland Mills and Ole Bull State Park around 525 PM EST. Brandy Camp around 535 PM EST. Brockport around 540 PM EST. Force around 545 PM EST. SAFETY INFO... Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until this squall passes your location. A rapid drop in temperature may lead to the rapid formation of black ice on area roadways. Black ice is nearly impossible to see and roadways may appear wet. Please use extreme caution, especially on bridges, overpasses and around curves.
