RIDGWAY — A Brockport man is in Elk County Jail after allegedly threatening someone with an AK47 during a fight Sunday in Horton Township.

According to Ridgway-based state police, at 1:45 a.m. Sunday on Boggy Run Road, Jacob Anna, 30, of Brockport was in an oral argument with a 22-year-old woman from Brockport. Anna allegedly punched the woman in the face, causing a small laceration to her upper inner lip, then retrieved a loaded AK47 and about 13 30-round magazines; he threatened to harm the woman and any police officer who intervened.

Anna left the home on foot, police said.

Police took him into custody around 10 a.m. Sunday on a warrant.

According to court records, Anna was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail on charges of terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge.

A preliminary hearing is set for July 31.

Police said the case will remain open pending further court proceedings.
