Vet Jam to celebrate local music scene while raising money for veterans

Cursed Sons was one of many musical acts to take the stage at the seventh annual Vet Jam in 2019 at the John C. Roche VFW Post 212 in Bradford. This year’s event is set for this Saturday.

The community will once again have a chance to support their local veterans, while enjoying live music, food and drinks at the 2020 Vet Jam on Jan. 25 at the Bradford Vets Club, 94 Barbour St.

Doors for this family friendly event open at noon and the cost is $10 per person, with free admission for children under the age of five. Attendees must be 18 or older after 9 p.m.

Food, drinks, merchandise and legal beverages will be available with the opportunity to enjoy live music on two stages. This year’s lineup features music from Marshmellow Overcoat, Remedy, County Lines, Spoiled Leftovers, Witch Hazel, Entropys End, Counterfeit Cover Band, Afraid of Human and Dog Day Sunrise. Acoustic acts include Alex Cole, Josh Hatcher, Catt Creek, Randall Andreano, Jim Ronan & Connor, Roger Pettengill, Rock Maninov Unplugged and Brianna Blankenship Music.

Vet Jam was created as a way for residents to come together to have fun, celebrate the local music scene and raise money for veterans. Funds raised from this all-day concert are donated to the Pennsylvania Veterans Foundation, with over $50,000 donated since the event first started.
