WARREN — An Olean, N.Y., woman was found dead in a tent at 4 a.m. Friday at the Rainbow Gathering on the Allegheny National Forest along Forest Route 522 in Limestone Township.

Leslie Elizabeth Riordan-Hazlett, 39, was found dead in her tent within a small campsite set up along Forest Route 522, deep within the Rainbow Gathering, according to Warren-based state police.

Police said a fellow camper attempted to revive Riordan-Hazlett with CPR to no avail.

Riordan-Hazlett was reported to have been consuming a large amount of alcoholic beverages throughout Thursday and into Friday night, police said. The preliminary cause of death is believed to be combined alcohol/drug toxicity.

Police were assisted at the scene by the U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement and Tidioute Volunteer Fire Department.

The investigation continues.
